About the Event
Join our peer-peer network of new farmers & growers at various stages of transition to agroecology and regenerative agriculture. We held our first social in January and everyone was keen to do it again! Also welcome are farm advisors, those with land to share, and those working elsewhere in or making decisions about the local food system.
Following on from the hugely successful socials at Stroud Brewery, this will be the final network social for GREAT, as the project draws to a close. We will look back at the project's achievements, and forward to new opportunities for regenerative agriculture in and around Gloucestershire. We'd love to welome all those who have engaged with GREAT over its three years, along with those who have heard of it more recently. The regen transition continues and you're part of it!
Guests will have the chance to wear a colour-coded badge to indicate their job to facilitate the networking process. A few FWAG advisers will join us, along with food processors, representatives from local government, and food system innovators, so there will be plenty of opportunities for useful conversations.
We're being hosted by the Boyd family in their FiPL-funded new venue, the Sainfoin Centre at Whittington Lodge Farm. Steph will be serving up canapes showcasing beef from their mob-grazed Herefords (veggie and vegan options too). The pop-up bar will serve up local beers alongwith a selection of other favourites.
The event is totally free - just turn up. Bring a firend and pass on the link to anyone you think would find it useful. There's space for 50, so plenty of room but not infinite - please do RSVP by clicking below. Hope to see you there.

If you are a farmer or grower in Gloucestershire and would like to spend the afternoon discussing the opportunities and barriers for regenerative agriculture, please consider joining our farmer focus group earlier in the afternoon - same date and location, 1.30-4.30pm. You'll get a free lunch on arrival (also cooked on-site by the wonderful Steph Boyd) and a farm tour from Ian Boyd while the room is set up for the social. Get in touch via email if you'd like to join us - great@fwagsw.org.uk
